Posture study co-authored by Roberts and Arefi-Afshar '03 featured in Atlantic Monthly

A study co-authored by CC Professor of Psychology Tomi-Ann Roberts and Yousef Arefi-Afshar, a 2003 CC graduate, is featured in the October 2007 issue of The Atlantic Monthly. The study, "Not All Who Stand Tall Are Proud: Gender Differences in the Proprioceptive Effects of Upright Posture," considers the connection between pride and ramrod-straight posture. The study showed there is a link, but only for men.
