New CC Students Embark on Service Trips
Students depart the Colorado College campus, heading off on their community-service trips.

First-year and transfer students at Colorado College fanned out across the Southwest on Wednesday, Aug. 31 embarking on their five-day Priddy Experience trips. The 54 new-student orientation trips are led by student leaders and include opportunities in the backcountry for trail maintenance and campsite restoration work, as well as volunteer work at animal shelters, charter schools, museums, and emergency food and shelter sites.

Together the 491 first-year and 22 transfer students, led by 121 New Student Orientation leaders, will contribute 10,000 hours of community service to organizations throughout the region - before Block 1 even begins!
