Michael Dahlie ’92 Wins Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for First Novel

Michael Dahlie, a '92 graduate of Colorado College, has won the 2009 Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for "A Gentleman's Guide to Graceful Living." The awarded is presented annually to a distinguished first book of fiction. Patrick Hemingway, the son of Nobel Prize-winning writer Ernest Hemingway, presented the prestigious literary award to Dahlie on Sunday, March 29, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Rhodes served as the ceremony's keynote speaker.
