"The Buddhist Mandala: The Hidden Heart of Tibetan Culture" is the title of Robert Thurman's talk.

He is a know globally as an authority of religion, Asian history and philosophy and especially Buddhism. He was named one of Time magazine's 25 most influential Americans.

Bob Thurman co-founded the Tibet House in New York City with his wife and Richard Gere, and at the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to preserve the rich resources of Tibetan culture. Known for his extensive scholarship, inspiring teaching, close friendship with the Dalai Lama and, of course, for his daughter Uma, Professor Thurman is a world-renowned educator with a broad following.
