Geology Faculty Presenting Conferences During Fall 2014

Professor Christine Siddoway traveled to Auckland, New Zealand, in late August to present at the SCAR (Scientific Committee of Antarctic Research) Biennial Meeting and Open Science Conference 2014. Christine's presentation was titled "Geological inheritance of West Antarctica - Echoes of past subduction and ongoing consequences".

The Geologic Society of America is holding their annual meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, this year from October 19-22. Professors Eric Leonard, Henry Fricke, Visiting Professor Carrie Tyler, and Paraprofessional Vikki Crystal will be traveling to Vancouver to present at the meeting.

The American Geophysical Union Annual Meeting will be in San Francisco, California, December 15-19.
