Colorado College Graduate Nets Fulbright, Boren Fellowships

Namrita Singh, who graduated in 2005 with a degree in psychology, has received a Fulbright Foreign Scholarship and has been named a Boren Fellow. Singh, who currently is working on her Ph.D. in public health at Johns Hopkins University, and will use the grant for fieldwork in the Republic of Georgia, where she will study "How Political Insecurity is Linked to Psychosocial Insecurity: A Case Study of Internally Displaced Persons in Georgia."
Boren Fellowships provide American graduate students, both at the master's and the doctoral level, with the resources and encouragement they need to acquire skills and experiences in areas of the world critical to the future security of America. The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of States oversees the Fulbright Fellowship Program.
