Collaborative Work by Kaeley Anderson '09, Professor Bob Jacobs Published

In writing her senior thesis, Colorado College student Kaeley Anderson '09 worked in Psychology Professor Bob Jacobs' lab to synthesize several years of data. The result was an article titled "The Morphology of Supragranular Pyramidal Neurons in the Human Insular Cortex: A Quantitative Golgi Study" published in Cerebral Cortex, a respected neuroscience journal.
"This project epitomizes the importance of faculty-student collaborations. This is the only study of its kind, and could not have been completed without student involvement, particularly Kaeley's tireless efforts to prepare the study for publication. She should be very, very proud as this is a significant accomplishment," Jacobs said.
