CC's Udis-Kessler's Book Submitted for Lambda Literary Award

Amanda Udis-Kessler, Colorado College's director of institutional research and planning, recently had her book "Queer Inclusion in the United Methodist Church" submitted for the 21st annual Lambda Literary Awards. The Lambda Literary Awards seek to recognize exceptional work in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender literature. Each year, more than 80 judges assess the entries in more than 20 categories. Udis-Kessler has written extensively on homophobia, biphobia, bisexual history, and LGBT religious issues. Her previous writing on the United Methodist Church sexuality struggle appeared in Open Hands and on the Hartford Seminar Institute for Religion Research resource Web page.
