CC's Director of Minority and International Students Receives Urban League Award

Rochelle Mason, director of minority and international students at Colorado College, recently received the Hugh B. Price Educational Leadership Award from the Urban League of the Pikes Peak Region. Mason was presented with the award at the Urban League's 45th Annual Equal Opportunity Day Gala on May 9 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs.
The award honors Mason for her "exemplary leadership, outstanding accomplishments, and contributions to the Pikes Peak Region." In selecting Mason for the award, the committee said it recognizes her "tremendous ability to provide academic development and collegiate opportunities for individuals" and noted that her efforts "have helped young people obtain a positive quality of life and/or positively influence the lives of others."
