From San Francisco to New York to Chicago to Denver, Colorado College is taking to the road to connect CC people across the country.
It's all part of Building on Originality: The Campaign for Colorado College, which launched publicly in October 2017.
San Francisco's SFJAZZ Center is the first stop on March 15 and includes a program about Changemakers Who are Shaping our World. Students who recently competed for $50,000 in Colorado College's Big Idea pitch competition winners - which include the teams of Chica Chocolate, Raw Sauce, and Momentics - will present on their experiences and what they have learned from the process. A panel of innovators, comprised of CC alumni and parents, also will share their perspectives.
"Through the campaign, we are investing in innovative programming and a new facility that will break down silos, foster creativity, and provide a space for ideas to become reality," says President Jill Tiefenthaler. "Our ability to meaningfully foster innovation, and equip the people who drive it, depends on all members of the Colorado College community participating in the campaign."
On April 19, CC will travel to New York and on June 21, the college will be in Chicago. In fall 2018, the college will host an event in Denver.
