Tutt Library will be Closed this Thursday through Monday.
Tutt Library will be Closed this Thursday through Monday.

Tutt Library will be closed from Thursday, May 27 through Monday, May 31 (Memorial Day). Most library services will be unavailable during that time; ITS: Solutions Center will be working from home.

In order to provide an opportunity for public services staff in the library to take vacation between Block 8 and Block A, and with the endorsement of Cabinet, Tutt Library will be closed for the last five days of May. These services will be affected during that time:

  • Requesting books: You may still request books from the library collection using the online catalog, but no books will be retrieved during the closure. Service will resume Tuesday, June 1.
  • Picking up books: Books that were already retrieved for you before May 27 or which arrived on interlibrary loan before May 27 will be available to pick up at the east entrance to the library from 8am to 8pm on the days that the library is closed. You will need your Gold Card to open the door.
  • New interlibrary loan requests: You will be able to create new requests online during the closure, but they will not be processed until June 1.
  • Research services: Online research help will be unavailable during the closure.
  • ITS: Solutions Center: Available via phone and email but not for in-person service.
