In his research on transparency, he examines the factors that lead individuals, groups, and organizations to materialize higher levels of transparency into speech acts, policies, procedures, and other communications. Celebrated Angolan author who has been awarded major literary prizes in Portugal, Brazil, and Angola, Ondjaki has written more than a dozen books that have been translated into eight languages, including &ldquo;Good Morning Comrades&rdquo;&nbsp;and &ldquo;Os Transparentes.&rdquo;<em> </em>Henighan is associate professor of Hispanic studies at the University of Guelph, as well as a writer, critic, and translator of Ondjaki's work.
