Diverse in perspectives, each film focuses on aspects of the Islamic experience. "Position Among the Stars" is hosted by Dylan Nelson, Artist-in-Residence for Film Studies. For 12 years, acclaimed filmmaker Leonard Retel Helmrich followed an Indonesian family from the slums of Jakarta. This study resulted in the trilogy &ldquo;Eye of the Day," &ldquo;Shape of the Moon,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Position Among the Stars." As in the previous two films, &ldquo;Position Among the Stars&rdquo; reveals the underlying patterns of life in Indonesia.
