Reversal of Charges
RETURN OF ITEM FOR WHICH PATRON HAS BEEN CHARGED A REPLACEMENT FEE
If a patron returns an item for which they have already been charged a replacement fee, tell the patron that the charges will be credited to his/her account within 30 to 60 days. Billing is usually done at the end of the month and is handled by Tutt staff.
Give patron and item information to the Music Library Circulation Services Coordinator. She will send an email to the Tutt Circulation Operations Coordinator with the following information:
- PATRON NAME/PATRON BARCODE
- ITEM BARCODE
- CALL NUMBER
- DATE ITEM WAS RETURNED
The charges will be credited to the patron’s account during the next billing cycle.
