What a Year!
Tara
Nott' 94, the United States' first Olympic gold medalist in women's
weightlifting, took on James Heckman '65, the first CC alumnus to become a
Nobel laureate, in a friendly arm wrestling contest in February. We
asked Tara, who can lift twice her body weight, to hoist Heckman over her
head, but she politely declined. By the way, bragging rights belong to
Heckman, who won this showdown of CC's mighty bright alumni.
