For the 2014 MacLean Symposium Day 2, Rawi Hage and Madeleine Thien in a roundtable discussion with Michael Valdez Moses. Author of “Certainty” and “Simple Recipes,” Thien's most recent novel is “Dogs at the Perimeter.” Winner of the IMPAC Dublin Prize for his first novel, “De Niro's Game,” Hage's most recent novel is “Carnival.” Moses is associate professor of literature at Duke University and the author of “The Novel and the Globalization of Culture.”
