"Systems and Subversions" Reception and IDEA Cabaret

The IDEA Space presents an IDEA Cabaret double-header to kick off the exhibition "Systems and Subversions." IDEA Cabaret is an ongoing series of informal conversations, performances, and experiences that explore the themes of IDEA Space exhibitions from a broad range of personal, artistic, and academic perspectives.

"Systems of Perception" Scott Johnson, associate professor of art, and Jonathan Lee, professor of philosophy, discuss the relationship between art, logical systems, and systems found in nature.

"Artificial Natures" Matthew Whitehead, assistant professor of mathematics and Steven Janke, professor of mathematics, discuss systems of artificial intelligence.
