Join sociology professor Matt Bakker, journalism professor Diane Alters, anthropology professor Christina Leza, CC sophomore James Kiawoin, and Air Force cadet Mahhad Nayyer for a panel discussion on compassion discourse and how the media portrays the suffering of individuals from developing nations. Topics covered will include international relations, transnational NGO work, philanthropy, and our basic understanding of those from other countries. Brought to you by Amnesty International.
