Exhibit, Gallery Talk

From January 21 through March 8, 2013, Coburn Gallery will present new work by artist Basim Magdy. An opening reception and gallery talk will take place on Monday, January 21 at 4:30pm. Working in a variety of media including painting, animation, installation, sculpture, and video, Basim Magdy is particularly interested in creating narrative structures that explore the space between reality and fiction. Magdy was born in Assiut, Egypt in 1977 and currently lives and works in Basel and Cairo. Coburn Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 1 -- 7pm. Closed Block Break: February 13 -- 17.
