Max Kade Theatre
inside Armstrong Hall Room 300, 14 E. Cache La Poudre St. (map)

Description

This presentation includes a 35 minute film screening of a "Director's Cut" clip reel from Death and the Civil War, from PBS's American Experience series, followed by an expert panel discussion.  The discussion will include comments on the history explored in the film and its relevance to veterans' needs today, with the aim of exploring how students and academics can bridge the gap between the military and civilian spheres to create stronger educational support mechanisms for returning veterans.
