Did you know that December 17th, 2013 will be the 110th anniversary of the first heavier than air, manned flight by the Wright brothers?
Did you know that Will Wright, a nephew of the Wilbur Wright, taught physics at Colorado College for 28 years?
The Physics Department is sponsoring a special topics course (Physics 220: The Physics and Meaning of Flight) in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force Academy during Block 4, 2012, for those who would like to know more about our progress in flight over the last 110 years.
To learn more about all of the above and get free pizza on October 4th at 12:00 pm in the Tutt Science auditorium, please make a reservation with Linda (x6577) or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. There will also be a sign-up sheet outside the Physics Seminar Room, Barnes 213.
