Empty Bowls

Bemis Hall
920 N. Cascade Ave. (west of Cutler Hall) (map)

Empty Bowls is an annual event at Colorado College to raise awareness of hunger and homelessness, a significant issue in the Colorado Springs community. The event is open to the Colorado College and Colorado Springs communities and all of the proceeds raised from ticket sales are donated directly to the Colorado College Community Kitchen. Tickets can be purchased for $10, which includes a handmade bowl and unlimited soup. Tickets will be available at the Worner Desk by February 27 and each ticket will specify a seating time; seating times are staggered so that we may serve the most people effectively, and will be at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to donate canned and non-perishable food items at the event.  Donations of soup and other related food items to serve at the event will be collected in advance. Please contact for more information about making a food donation.
