Liza Malott Pohle

B.A., American History and Political Science, Pi Gamma Mu

Upon graduation, Liza worked at the American Enterprise Institute on the Constitutional Studies Project in Washington, D.C. From 1986-92,Liza served in the Reagan and Bush Administrations in the U.S. Information Agency's Office of U.S.-Soviet Relations, managing education exchange programs between the two countries. After returning to Chicago with her husband (Chris Pohle '83), Liza worked on fundraising and event management for nonprofit organizations and the Illinois Republican Party. From 1995 to the present, she has devoted her time to raising her children and working with her family's foundation supporting public education reform in Chicago. Liza serves as on the boards of the New Canaan High School Parent Faculty Association Board member and New Canaan National Charity League Board member; is the Advancement Chair for Boy Scout Troop 70; and is a member of the Junior League. She enjoys volunteering with her children's schools, church youth groups, Scout troops, sports teams, musical groups, etc. She is a former board member of Scripps College, the Foundation for International Arts and Education, United Way of New Canaan, and the National Museum of Dentistry.

Liza and Chris live in Connecticut with their three children - Drew, Eliza, and Henry.
