A Denver-based attorney and entrepreneur, Jerome owns and manages a boutique law firm, Achieve Law Group LLC, that specializes in serving as General Counsel to schools, school districts, non-profits and private companies. The law firm specializes in civil litigation, corporate governance, education law, and political law. Previously, he served as general counsel for Denver Public Schools, and prior to that he practiced law at Arnold and Porter, and Davis Graham and Stubbs Law. Jerome is a member of the Board of Directors for Colorado Legal Services, the Judicial Performance Commission for the 17th Judicial District, and the Colorado Supreme Court Disciplinary Hearings Advisory Panel. He has twice been nominated by the Colorado Lawyer's Committee for Individual of the Year, and has been honored as a "Compleat Lawyer" (Law Week 2012), Up and Coming Lawyer (Law Week 2008) and Outstanding New Hispanic Attorney (CHBA 2007). For 15 years Jerome has served as pro-bono counsel in the Taylor Ranch class action litigation in which he represents the families in San Luis who are fighting to restore the land-grant rights given to their ancestors when they settled the San Luis Valley. As an entrepreneur, Jerome and his business partners are creating a sustainable farming operation in the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado.
