Alan Woo '71, who will serve as an elected alumni trustee, is an adjunct professor at Springfield College in Tustin, California, and deputy director of Santa Ana Unidos. He has spent years working in community organizing, improving the lives of those most in need in Orange County, California. His professional career includes serving as president/CEO of Mega Group, a management consultant group specializing in turning around troubled organizations and conducting futures planning. Woo has been actively involved with the Orange County Black Chamber of Commerce, Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance, Asian Rehabilitation Services, Orange County President's Council, and the Affordable Housing Clearing House of Orange County. He received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from CC in 2017 and is included in CC's Faces of Innovation.
