Open Houses at Colorado College

During your college search, visiting a campus is one of the best ways to dig in to a community. Whether you eat lunch with a student, participate in a lively class discussion, marvel at our mountain views, or make connections with faculty and staff, you will walk away with a good sense of who we are. In addition to regularly-scheduled daily visits, we also offer more comprehensive, longer Open Houses programs that will expose you to academic and co-curricular opportunities.

Summer Open Campus

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my parents?
Sure! We even have several events planned specifically for parents. A list of hotels can be found here. When making reservations, please ask for the Colorado College rate, as some hotels offer discounts for CC visitors.

How do I register for the weekend?
Please use the Online Registration Checklist below to organize your registration information and then officially register using the registration links above.

What do I do when I arrive?
Please check in at the registration table in Worner Center. We will give you a packet with all the information you need for your time on campus. If you arrive after 9 p.m., the Worner Desk should have your information packet for you.

What should I bring?
The CC Open House is informal, so be sure to pack comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes. Colorado weather can be variable, so be prepared for rain or shine. All meals and events are free; however, if you want to buy CC souvenirs, shop downtown, or order snacks, remember to bring some extra spending money.

What if I can't make either program?
We hope you are able to visit another time. We can schedule an information session, tour, class visit, and perhaps an overnight stay (make reservations two weeks in advance). Please use our Online Event Search Tool to find alternative visit options.

What if I can't visit at all?
A great way to connect with us is to request an interview. If you have questions, feel free to call and ask for an admission officer or visit our website. You can contact professors by searching for their information on each department webpage, under "People." You can also check out our Facebook page.

Students are also available to answer questions. Click here to be in touch with our Admission Fellows. Call (800) 542-7214 and let us know if you would like to speak to someone.
