Corina McKendry teaches environmental politics and political economy in the Political Science Department and for the Environmental Program. Courses she teaches include Cities, Sustainability, and Environmental Justice; Global Environmental Policy; Environmental Management; Introduction to International Political Economy; and U.S. Environmental Politics. Her research focuses on the political economy of urban environmentalism in the United States and Great Britain. She is particularly interested in the relationship between urban greening and the changing role of cities in the globalized economy and in the social equity implications of city environmentalism as a strategy of economic growth. Corina received her Bachelors degree in International Studies from Macalester College (MN) and her Masters and PhD from the Department of Politics at the University of California Santa Cruz. She began teaching at Colorado College in the fall of 2011.
