Research Experience for Undergraduates (REUs)

If you are a student looking for a summer research opportunity, check out the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates website. These programs are government funded and specifically intended for undergraduate students. It is recommended that all students intending to pursue a career in physics complete at least one research project as an undergraduate.

Here are links to REUs in specific fields:

Websites for Faculty Research

If you are a student looking for research opportunities, faculty members are always looking for help. Feel free to ask around about what research the different faculty are working on and who needs help.

Also, announcements for new research opportunities are sent to the physics email list. If you're not on this list and would like to be, email Kate Carlton.
