ACSM -- The mission of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) is to advance and integrate scientific research to provide educational and practical applications of exercise science and sports medicine. The ACSM has more than 50,000 members and certified professionals from 90 countries around the globe. The members represent 70 occupations within the sports medicine field.

Rocky Mountain ACSM Chapter -- CC's local ACSM Chapter

ACSM Brown Bag Series -- ACSM’s Brown Bag Series in Science gives students and professionals a chance to learn more about the diverse science ACSM members conduct. The monthly informal discussions take place between September and May and highlight what ACSM members study, the general research methodology they use and some of the interesting results their research generates.

NSCA -- The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) exists to empower a community of professionals to maximize their impact through disseminating evidence-based knowledge and its practical application. The NSCA community is composed of more than 60,000 members and certified professionals throughout the world including researchers, educators, strength and conditioning coaches, performance and sport scientists, personal trainers, tactical professionals, and other related roles.
