Alexander Foundation

Founded in 1981, The Alexander Foundation is a public, non-profit, philanthropic organization. Through our community, catastrophic, and holiday assistance programs, as well as educational scholarships, the foundation has created a tradition of caring for the LGBT community.

American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)

For almost 100 years, the ACLU has worked to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States.


Brothas4Ever is a community of African-American men who love men throughout the Denver metro area, to address health, relationships, emotional needs and substance abuse. The program includes social events, weekly groups, peer outreach and individual counseling.

Colorado GLBT Bar Association

The Colorado Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender (“GLBT”) Bar Association is a voluntary professional association of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender attorneys, judges, paralegals and law students and allies who provide a GLBT presence within Colorado’s legal community.

Colorado Springs Queer Collective

Colorado Springs Queer Collective fosters community leadership, education, and empowerment. Our mission is to address inequality, re-invest in the local economy, and celebrate the creative contributions of queer and trans people.

Denver Area Tennis Enthusiasts (DATE)

DATE is a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender tennis group in Denver, whose purpose is to promote opportunities to play tennis.

Denver Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce

DGLCC is a community of business owners and professionals who seek diversity and build strong relationships with one another to maintain and grow prosperous businesses. The DGLCC community is inclusive and supportive by promoting business development and personal enrichment.

Gay & Lesbian Sierrans Colorado

The purpose of the Gay & Lesbian Sierrans is to involve the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community in conservation and environmental efforts by creating outdoor, social, and activist opportunities for GLBT members of the Sierra Club and the greater Colorado community.

Gender Identity Center of Colorado

The Center provides support to anyone gender variant in their gender identity and expression. The Gender Identity Center of Colorado is also an informational and educational resource to the community at large. The Gender Identity Center of Colorado is available to anyone, male / female / other, who can benefit from its services or resources, including spouses, significant others, parents, and siblings.

Gill Foundation

The Gill Foundation is one of the nation’s leading funders of efforts to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

GLBT Community Center

The Center aims to engage, empower, enrich, and advance the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community of Colorado by ensuring that every member of the LGBT community has access to the programs and resources they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

GLBT Resource Center at Colorado State University

We support and affirm the diverse identities and lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning (LGBTQ), Two-Spirit, and same gender loving people as individuals and as groups, especially as students, staff, and faculty of CSU and their families, friends, and allies, by the cultivation of safe space, educational outreach, advocacy, visibility of LGBTQ issues, information and referral, and academic and leadership opportunities.

GLBT Student Resources at Auraria

GLBT Student Services is a tri-institutional office on the Auraria Campus serving the students, faculty and staff of Metropolitan State College of Denver, Community College of Denver and University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center.

GLBTA Resource Center at the University of Northern Colorado

The GLBTA Resource Office implements Speak Out Panels in classrooms at UNC, offers Safe Zone trainings throughout the school year, as well as hosting annual programs and events.

Inside/Out Youth Services

Inside/Out Youth Services is the only non-profit organization that serves lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning youth between 13-22 years old in El Paso County.

LGBT Resource Center at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs

As part of the Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness, and Community (MOSAIC), the LGBT Resource Center is designed to provide resources and information to LGBT students, advocate for LGBT interests throughout campus, conduct outreach and education, and ensure LGBT voices are represented among the campus at large.

Mile High Freedom Band

For over 30 years, MHFB has served the Denver community through music. The generous donations of our Freedom Club members allow us to continue to entertain audiences, serve as positive role models for the LGBT community, and provide musicians of all abilities and identities with a safe and fun environment to express themselves musically!

OASOS is for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) youth 13-18 (12 with parent/guardian permission).

One Colorado

One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Coloradans and their families.

Out Boulder

Since 1992 Out Boulder has educated, advocated and provided services, programs and support to Boulder County's LGBTQ communities.

Out Front

Out Front was founded in 1976 by Phil Price. Since then, no other gay media has served the LGBT community with such dedication.

We are a group of Colorado-based authors of GLBT fiction.

Out Spokin'

Founded in 1998, OUT Spokin’ is a GLBT cycling organization. Bicyclists of all abilities train together and participate in cycling events throughout Colorado and the United States.

Springs Equality

Survivor's Organizing for Liberation (formerly the Colorado Anti-Violence Program)

Since 1986 Survivors Organizing for Liberation (SOL) has been dedicated to eliminating all forms of violence within and against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities in Colorado.

Tau Sigma Kappa

As the The Society for the Second Self (Tri-Ess) chapter in the Denver metro area, TSK has served its members by providing: support for the Significant Others in our group; serenity for our crossdressing members by helping with techniques and venues; and service to the general community by providing education and visibility into the crossdressing lifestyle.

Team Colorado

Team Colorado USA helps to coordinate and increase participation in LGBT athletic competition in our region, country and world.

Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Friends Colorado Springs

The Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Friends Colorado Springs group is for anyone that identifies as transgender, non-binary, intersex, or gender non-conforming/creative/expansive and their families/ partners/ significant others/ boos/ baes/ emotional support humans, etc. Please note that Meetups are generally only for non-cis attendees and their partners/family. Events afterward or when explicitly stated can include all the cis folks. While we love and appreciate our allies, this is a space for non-cisgender people to make space with and for each other.

Transgender Housing Network

A temporary housing network intended to connect trans people in need with safe and supportive places to crash.

Urban Peak

Urban Peak Colorado Springs and Denver emergency shelter, is a 20 bed facility for youth ages 15 through 20.

And Justice for All (AJA) was founded in mid-1995 to fight for equality for everyone without regard to sexual orientation. AJA seeks to achieve this goal by increasing the visibility and participation of heterosexuals in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights movement. 

Black Transmen

Black Transmen Inc.® is the 1st National Non-Profit Organization of African American transmen solely focused on acknowledgment, social advocacy and empowering transmen with resources to aid in a healthy female to male transition.

Black Transwomen

Our united commitment is to ensure safe and affirming social environments for transwomen through visibility, advocacy and outreach. Our Black Transwomen organization is committed to providing the (MTF) male to female community with social and economic programs and resources to empower individual growth and contributions to the greater society.

Brown Boi

Launched in 2010, the Brown Boi Project works to build leadership, economic self sufficiency, and health of young masculine of center womyn, trans men, and queer/straight men of color, pipelining them into the social justice movement.

Campus Pride

Campus Pride serves LGBTQ and ally student leaders and campus organizations in the areas of leadership development, support programs and services to create safer, more inclusive LGBTQ-friendly colleges and universities. It exists to develop, support and give “voice and action” in building future LGBTQ and ally student leaders.

Center of Excellence for Transgender Health

The mission of the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health is to increase access to comprehensive, effective, and affirming health care services for trans communities.

Child and Adolescent Gender Center Clinic

The Child and Adolescent Gender Center (CAGC), a collaboration between the University of California in San Francisco and community organizations, offers comprehensive medical and psychological care, as well as advocacy and legal support, to gender non-conforming/transgender youth and adolescents.

College Scholarships for LGTBQ Students

LGBTQ resource centers are popping up on college campuses all over the United States. Even in areas that may lack legal protections for LGBTQ students, academic institutions are providing welcome space and offering LGBTQ-specific scholarships to encourage applicants from all backgrounds and identities and create a rich tapestry of college life. There are also regional scholarships for LGBTQ students and various organization, foundation and community funds that students in the spectrum can apply to for aid. Family Acceptance Project

The Family Acceptance Project™ is a research, intervention, education and policy initiative that works to prevent health and mental health risks for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) children and youth, including suicide, homelessness and HIV – in the context of their families, cultures and faith communities.

FTM International

Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders

Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network

At GLSEN, we want every student, in every school, to be valued and treated with respect, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We believe that all students deserve a safe and affirming school environment where they can learn and grow. We accomplish our goals by working in hallways across the country (from Congress and the Department of Education to schools and district offices in your community) to improve school climate and champion LGBT issues in K-12 education. 

Gender Spectrum

Gender Spectrum provides consultation, training and events designed to help families, educators, professionals, and organizations understand and address the concepts of gender identity and expression.

GLAAD serves as the communications epicenter of the LGBT movement, equipping advocacy leaders with the tools they need to communicate more effectively. GLAAD is also reinventing the way social media moves equality forward.

International Foundation for Gender Education

IFGE promotes acceptance for transgender people. Intersex Society of North America

The Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) is devoted to systemic change to end shame, secrecy, and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with an anatomy that someone decided is not standard for male or female.

Lambda Legal

National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network

NQTTCN is a space that prioritizes the needs and vision for healing in Queer and Trans communities in an effort to interrupt the consequences of the oppression these communities experience. It is a way for queer, gender non-conforming and trans therapists across the country to build, resource and support one another as clinicians and healers. NQTTCN will also provide a network of support for QTPoC folks seeking transformative mental health support rooted in social justice and liberation.

National Resource Center on LGBT Aging

The National Resource Center on LGBT Aging is the country's first and only technical assistance resource center aimed at improving the quality of services and supports offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender older adults.

Transgender College Students: A Guide to Finding a Supportive School

Trevor Project

Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.

True Child

TrueChild helps donors, policy-makers and practitioners reconnect race, class and gender through "gender transformative" approaches that challenge rigid gender norms and inequities.
