    An Important Announcement

Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, it is with great disappointment that the Colorado College Education Department is canceling the summer LEAP program scheduled for June 2020.

We plan to offer LEAP during the summer of 2021 and hope that your child can join us then. In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.

If you are interested, our valued partner Catamount Institute is running summer camps in June and July.

As of this summer, the Colorado College Education Department will no longer offer the Gifted and Talented Plus and Whizbang Science summer programs. The programs are no longer required for providing field experiences and classroom hours to CC's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) students.

While it is difficult to say goodbye to two long-time and beloved summer programs, the Education Department is excited to offer new children's literacy programs very closely aligned with CC's Literacy Specialist MAT program, which specializes in the identification and treatment of dyslexia (see below).
