RE320 – Ritual and Judaism

A study of Judaism through various models of ritual theory, surveying a variety of assumptions, contexts, and functions. Throughout the block we will explore new frameworks for thinking about ritual, asking what ritual 'communicates' and how. (Not offered 2017-18).
