A survey of environmental issues from the geologist's perspective, including such topics as: hazards from volcanoes, earthquakes, and floods, bio-geochemical cycles and atmospheric change, and energy and mineral resources. Meets the Critical Perspectives: Scientific Investigation of the Natural World requirement.
