FG110 – Introduction to Feminist and Gender Studies
Introduces theories and methodologies that examine the relationships between power and markers of identity, such as gender, sexuality, race, class, nation, and dis/ability. Informed by the civil rights, student, labor, LGBTQ, and women’s movements, this course encourages student reflection on their participation
in institutions of power and in effecting change. Meets the Critical Perspectives: Social Inequality requirement.
