Examines Native American literature through cultural, social, historical, generic, and/or aesthetic lenses. Students will focus on a curated selection of Native American texts in order to identify and study key concepts, terms, methods, and techniques through a concentrated scope. Topics may include, for example, specific Native American literary genres or Native American literature alongside another medium (art, film, etc.). (Not offered 2017-18).
Prerequisite: consent of instructor or EN/AN 251.
