ED415 – Educational Interventions

An advanced course for students interested in understanding pedagogical interventions of alternative school programs implemented to mitigate learning in the classroom. The course focuses on the critical examination of in-school and after-school programs that help build the aspirational, navigational, social, cognitive, and linguistic capital critical to the success of the learner. Includes daily fieldwork where students will experience first-hand local programs.

Prerequisite: Education 370, Education 380, or Education 385.
