An advanced course for students interested in understanding pedagogical interventions of alternative school programs implemented to mitigate learning in the classroom. The course focuses on the critical examination of in-school and after-school programs that help build the aspirational, navigational, social, cognitive, and linguistic capital critical to the success of the learner. Includes
daily fieldwork where students will experience first-hand local programs. (Not offered 2020-21).
Prerequisite: Education 370, Education 380, or Education 385.
