Examines the knowledge and skills needed for the identification, evaluation, and exploitation of opportunities in a variety of circumstances and environments. Attention is paid to the behaviors of entrepreneurs, networks, the venture creation process, financing, legal and tax considerations, and the development of a formal venture proposal. May include local field trips. Pass/fail grade only. (Not offered 2018-19).
Prerequisite: Economics 120; Economics 201 or Economics 205.
