An Invitation to Participate
One of the WES Board goals is to extend an invitation to and encourage the WES general membership to serve on one of the WES standing and ad hoc committees. The Scholarship Committee, for example, mentors new and current scholars on campus, supports scholar teas and picnics, and joins the rest of the Board members in assembling and delivering scholar "care" packages at the end of each semester. Other WES committees include Finance, Fundraising/Project, Future Planning (ad hoc), Membership, Nominating, Program, and Publicity.
