Inspired by Winchester Cathedral in England, Shove Chapel was constructed of Indiana limestone as a gift to the college.  Shove is a non-denominational chapel and many organizations utilize its space.  For example, each week there are Buddhist meditations, concerts, community meetings, and Catholic Mass.  There is also a student-run community kitchen that operates in the basement every Sunday.  The kitchen is a great way to get involved if you are interested in community service, as most CC students are -- about 84 percent have participated in some type of community service before they graduate.

Shove also features a Welte-Tripp Organ -- which is used for concerts, special college events such as opening convocation, and religious services -- and the Chancel Rose Window. See the religious life page for more about Shove.
