The college's Stabler Gilmore cabin, located 35 miles west of campus, was originally built by students in 1980. That structure burned down in the spring of 1991, and a new cabin was erected in 1992. The cabin has three bathrooms, 24 bunks, a commercial stove and sink, a large deck, and a large, open interior space. The cabin is used as a retreat by classes, campus organizations, and individuals in the CC community.
