CC Easy Website Creator - Colorado College

This process will walk you through building a basic structure for your website. You'll then be able to download the files, add your own content, and publish your new site.

What you will be doing

1. Choosing template options, like the color scheme and design of your site
2. Creating your site's structure: what pages you are going to have
3. Downloading a zip file, unzipping it in your website's directory and adding your content to your site!

What you will need

• HTML-editing software. We support Adobe/Macromedia Dreamweaver and Contribute, however other WYSIGYG editors will also work
• Image editing software. Every picture you want to include on your site must be resized exactly as you want it to appear on your site
• An idea of the structure of your site. Make sure you think about what pages you want to include ahead of time. It will make your life easier down the road.
