
Commencement Information

Monday, May 20, 2013, 8:30 a.m.
The Colorado College Commencement Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 8:30 a.m., on the Armstrong Quad. This beautiful outdoor event faces Pikes Peak, and is located just north of Armstrong Hall, which is #1 on the Campus map. Tickets are not required to attend the ceremony. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Complimentary coffee and water will be available. The students will begin the march from Palmer Hall to Armstrong Quad promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Parking
Accessible parking is located in the parking lot just east of Armstrong Hall. Parking is permitted in any of the campus parking lots. Additionally, there is street parking available within walking distance.
Restrooms
The nearest restrooms are located in Shove Chapel and Armstrong Hall.

Additional Activities
In addition to the Commencement ceremony, Colorado College hosts activities on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon for family members.
Commencement Dance
Commencement weekend festivities begin with the Commencement reception and dance held on Saturday evening, May 18, 2013, at the Antlers Hilton Hotel, 8 p.m - 1 a.m. All family members and friends are invited to attend. Tickets are required, and are available for purchase here.
Baccalaureate
The Baccalaureate service is held on Sunday afternoon, May 19, 2013, in the Shove Memorial Chapel. Students select a favorite teacher to deliver an inspirational speech at this Colorado College tradition.

Photographs
The Commencement photographer is Ted Mehl. He will be taking photos of each student as they receive their diploma. These will be emailed to parents, and available online by June 7. He will be on campus to take senior portraits Saturday, May 18, 9-11:30 a.m. in the Worner Campus Center, and will be set up to take family portraits at the Commencement dance.
