CC Alumni Student Endorsement Program

Welcome CC alumni in education,

In an effort to ensure a prosperous future for the Colorado College community, we want your help in building our next incoming class! In 2010, the Admission Office unveiled the CC Alumni Student Endorsement (CCASE) Program to encourage alumni participation in the admission process. CCASE, built especially for CC alumni in education, encourages alumni educators to identify talented students in their respective communities and then help guide them through the admission process. CCASE was formed with educators in mind because we know that you interact with students on a daily basis, and have incredible perspective for what makes a good fit for the College. For example, you could endorse a student in your class, an athlete you coach, or a club member you mentor.

When you endorse students' applications, we will waive their $50 application fee as an incentive for them to move forward with the CC application process. An important feature of CCASE will include your narrative and insight into the student's special personal and academic accomplishments, information that will endorse the student's candidacy and fit at Colorado College.  Although writing a student endorsement does not guarantee the student’s admission to CC, it will add another personal dimension to the highly selective holistic review process.  For the 2011-2012 admission cycle, we received close to 5,600 applications and had an overall admission rate of 23%. 36% of Early Decision applicants, 30% of Early Action applicants, and 15% Regular Action applicants were admitted. Please be aware of the admission deadlines so you can submit your endorsement in plenty of time.

Before clicking on the link below to endorse students you know, please take a few minutes to review our recommendations for writing an endorsement.
