Topics in Environmental Science: Energy Systems
Block C: July 20 - August 7
1 CC unit (4 semester hours). Fulfills the Critical Perspectives: Scientific Investigations of the Natural World requirement at Colorado College. One natural sciences credit.

This course will introduce the science pertaining to both the current fossil fuel based energy paradigm and the future solar based energy paradigm. Due to the unique positions of nuclear energy and hydrogen in this paradigm shift the science of nuclear energy and hydrogen fuel cells will be examined.

Prerequisites: None. Enrollment limited to 32 students.
