1 CC unit (4 semester hours). One humanities credit.

Classroom assignment: Packard 36

A foundation course in photographic technique directed toward artistic ends. Using and understanding the camera, films, and printing. Extensive photographing as basis for seeing and composition. Short survey of photographic history. Students provide their own film cameras with manual override.

Program fee (in addition to tuition): $100
Prerequisites: Any 100 level Studio Art course. Enrollment is limited to 12 students.
