Cosmology, Antigravity and the Runaway Universe
Block C: July 20 - August 7
1 CC unit (4 semester hours). Fulfills the Critical Perspectives: Scientific Investigations of the Natural World lab or field requirement at Colorado College. One natural sciences credit.

During this course we will discuss our current understanding of cosmology and, perhaps more importantly, how we know what we know. We will examine the latest observations taken with the Hubble Space Telescope and explore what these observations tell us about the nature of the universe. We will supplement these observations with our own observations using the Colorado college Observatory.

Prerequisites: None. Enrollment is limited to 24 students. A non-refundable $100 course deposit is required in order to enroll in this course. The deposit will be credited to your final tuition payment.
