In collaboration with the Opera Theatre of the Rockies, the Colorado
College Summer Programs Vocal Arts Symposium provides a three-week training
and performance program directed by internationally acclaimed operatic
soprano Martile Rowland, joined by an array of distinguished faculty.
Enrollment in the symposium is open to all serious students of voice
on an audit basis or for undergraduate credit. Participants will receive
three weeks of intensive training in the vocal and dramatic arts with
an emphasis on performance. Participants receive private voice lessons,
coaching lessons, theatre arts classes, stage makeup classes, and master
classes. In a positive, supportive and fun atmosphere, singers flourish
and improve their skills.
Information about the 12th season in 2010 will be available in December. Read more about our application requirements on the application page.
