CCSGA Mission Statement

As the 2008-09 Colorado College Student Government Association, we commit ourselves to representing the students of The Colorado College by proactively addressing their concerns and supporting their endeavors. Acting as a constructive resource for the student body, we will:

• Encourage cooperation and collaboration between diverse student groups on campus
• Join the efforts of students in promoting and implementing sustainability initiatives
• Facilitate communication between students and the administration
• Increase active involvement in the CC community, striving for a positive presence
• Promote a welcoming and accommodating environment for all students from all backgrounds

Other Info

The Colorado College Student Government Association changed its name from Colorado College Campus Association (CCCA) to CCSGA on November 6, 2007. The change was prompted by a critical evaluation of the purpose and goals of our organization. We are representatives of the student body elected by the student body to serve the threefold purposes of:

• Acting as a liaison between students and administration;
• Recognizing, chartering, and funding student organizations;
• and Placing students on all college standing committees.
