CCSGA Projects

CCSGA has a commitment to affecting change throughout the entire campus. One method of doing so is through their multiple standing and ad hoc committees.

Student Space Opening (Student Space Committee)

  • We will have our kick-off event for the Student Space on December 15
  • At the event there will be:
    • A chance to enter your suggestion for the student space name
    • Free food
    • Entertainment
    • A chance to see all the new developments!

Morreale Carriage House Development and Purpose (Student Space Committee)

  • The Morreale Carriage House was renovated as a space specifically for student use
  • We are furnishing it to be a multi use facility
  • Bands can use it for practices and performances
  • Student organizations can use it for meetings and events
  • As of second semester, we will be developing a plan for making it a full access facility so that students can study and hang out in the space whenever it’s open
  • You can reserve the space through the Worner Desk now! Call 719-389-6607

Peer Group Development (Mental Health Resource Assessment Committee)

  • We are assessing campus, Colorado Springs, and nationwide mental health resources
  • After assessment, we are developing a proposal for mental health awareness at CC
Sustainable Projects Fund (Sustainability Committee)
  • The CCGSA is proud to announce the availability of our new Sustainable Projects Fund!
  • This fund is aimed at supporting grass roots sustainability projects initiated individual students or organizations.
  • You do not need to have any current affiliation with the CCSGA to apply. For more details, please contact Financial Vice President Adam Kretz at a_kretz@coloradocollege.edu
