About AASU

AASU has been recognized and chartered by theColorado College Student Government Association (CCSGA) since 19.. uh some odd year. Our vital presence on-campus, promotes education and awareness of Asian culture on the Colorado College campus. AASU takes an innovative approach to educating the campus about culture. In the past, we have held blockly food workshops, where we teach students how to make simple Asian meals such as Vietnamese Spring Rolls, exotic fruit salads, and bubble drinks. We collaborate with the other Asian student organizations on campus for a successful Asian Awareness Week every school year. And OF COURSE we own a karaoke machine that we whip out for the parties.

Not Asian? Not American? It's okay, we just happen to do everything Asian. Our membership is not limited to those of Asian decent. As a matter of fact, we ENCOURAGE people of all backgrounds to join AASU. So drop in on a meeting, and bring your roommate!

Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the block, 6PM, in upstairs Worner. If you have a few more questions, don't hesitate to contact any of the executive members or our advisor.
